Admission for Master of Computer Application (MCA) – 2015

Eligibility :
The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the course shall be:
i) A recognized first degree of minimum three years’ duration in any discipline from Panjab
University with at least 50% marks and with Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation level (all
three years);
Or
ii) B.C.A. from Panjab University with 50% marks
Or
iii). Any examination recognized by the Panjab University as equivalent to any of the above
examinations i) or ii)
Exam Pattern :
The test of 1 hour 30 minutes duration shall contain 75 Objective Type (Multiple choice questions with
four responses i.e. A, B, C, & D) carrying one mark each. The questions will be based upon following four
components:

THE PROCEDURE AND STEPS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION-CUM-ADMISSION FORM
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
- Register Online.
- Note down your Login Id and Password.
- Take print out of bank slip.
- Deposit fee using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip.
- Login and upload scanned photograph, signature, fill other important information Save and Confirm.
- Download your Admit Card after 29th May 2015.
NOTE :
- If more than 24 Hrs. have passed after printing the fee slip and your details are not found in bank for despositing fee, write to cetpg@pu.ac.in with scanned copy of bankslip.
- Candidate availing concession in the fee under the category SC/ST OR P.U. Class B/C Regular Employee must send the copy of printout of their filled form alongwith the self attested copy of Category Certificate/ Proforma for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees (“B” and “C” Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand on or before May 26, 2015 upto 4:00 PM.
