1. Admission to the course is open to any graduate (10+2+3) of any recognized university satisfying the following conditions.
i. The candidate should have secured at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate at graduate level university examination.
ii. The knowledge of mathematics / Statistics at XII level or higher level is essential except for BCA, B.Sc. (Computer), BCS graduates.
iii. Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the  merit at the all  India  entrance  test  (B-CAT) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.

MCA ENTRANCE EXAM PATTERN

Test Centres :Test will be held at following centers.
Pune, New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Karad, Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, Lucknow
Reservation Policy: “Reservations will be as per directives of the Government of India (MHRD) and U.G.C.”
Management Quota: 15% seats are reserved in each college and in each branch under Foreign / NRI /P.I.O. merit category. Candidates seeking admissions to the seats of this category will have to apply to The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune. Seats remaining vacant after allotment to Foreign / NRI/ P.I.O. students will be allotted to Indian students under regular merit category on the basis of merit based on the marks obtained by them in B-CAT.

The seats will be filled on merit based on their performance in “B-CAT Test” conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth University at the designated centers. 
One seat over and above the sanctioned intake of the programme at each center is reserved for sons and daughters of migrants from J & K valley, Defence and Civil Service personnel engaged in fighting against terrorist activities in J & K valley (D.O. No. F10-1/2003-Desk (U) dated 5-12-2003). The candidates to be admitted against these seats must have appeared at the B-CAT conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune.

SYLLABUS

Nature of entrance test: B-Cat
he B-CAT Test will consist of in all 200 marks. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions one mark each with four alternatives. One has to choose the right / probable choice. There is no negative marking. The break-up of marks will be as follows:
